Thank you for your video; I miss sailing in Kachemak Bay. My dad sold his sailboat to a couple in Seldovia decades ago, and out of nostalgia I went onto KZbin in hopes to catch a glimpse sailboat life there, and perhaps the 40ft Valiant of which I have fond memories.

Nice condition brightwork. Can you get away with just a touchup maintenance coat each season? Or maybe in Alaska you can go two or three seasons in between?

How much wind that day ? 20-25knts ?

That boat goes around the mark and then accelerates like a rocket! For a singe-hander, with such weight, beam, and short length, it's really going! Excellent stuff, I only wish I could afford one!
