Worst crooks with shoddy equipment, EVER! Had to send the defective unit back that they sent initially. Then the slugs will not issue a refund using all sorts of lies and excuses. Sorry treatment of senior citizens stealing my money

Question: When you discuss removing "4 bolts" to remove the main lite assembly, the video only shows 3. In fact, you mention "3" at one point. It looks like the bolt in the top-right part (in your video) is actually some kind of plastic "guide" that positions the light correctly - - but there is no bolt/screw there. There appear to be only 3 main bolts/screws at that point where the light attaches to the bumper. Can you please clarify this before I tackle this job where my fog light appears to be a bit loose.

3 screws are used to attach the shroud to the inside of the bumper with the top inside corner utilizing a plastic guid pin. 3 screws to mount the light housing to the shroud (but my car was missing the bottom outside screw).

@@jordanrodriguez8816 Your video was very helpful because my 2003 Miata has a very loose fog light on the driver's side. I'm now sure that one bolt (bottom right) is missing. I plan to follow your video to fix it. Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.

So I just got a miata and the glass in the fog light broke. Do you have to buy a hole new foglight or do you just buy a completely new foglight? Also are the foglight covers all glass? I know mine is but I dont knowcif all aftermarket ones are.

Did you figure this out? I just need new glass so I'm wondering if I can just buy that or if I need to replace the whole unit.

Same thing for me. I ended up just buying new Eagle Eye fog light housings w/ bulbs off of 1A auto for less than $80 I think

My 99 looks NOTHING like this with the fog lights. I have no idea what the previous owner did but, the fog light is held in by like 3 bolts up top that you have to take the bumper off to get to

Dalton Hale I’m not sure. If your profile pic is the miata you have, it looks like either a mazdaspeed front end or an aftermarket kit. And I know a lot of those require aftermarket fog light housings due to the absence of mountings that were molded into the kit. It could possibly be your case. Or it could be that the NB 1s are different from the NB 2s

Modest Miata it is my Miata.. and thanks for the quick reply. But I think they changed it in the nb2s. I’m currently working on mine now but the fog light housing has cracked so the electric mechanism that holds the bulb broke and crack out of the fog light housing. Wish I could show pics but it’s very messed up on my passenger side, haven’t even looked at the driver

Dalton Hale, I did it without taking bumper off. Couldn’t use original bolts and nuts to put back in, so I used oversized bolts and forced them in...

Nb1 (99-00) is dufferent bumper hood, fenders,headlights (3 piece headlamp on 01-05 vs 2 on the 99-00) the fog light bulbs are also different. They changed to a mewr look on the nb2 (01-05) btw the 99-00 LS model comes with fogs.

My driver side fog light is out and it is not the bulb. I am going to check the voltage at the connector on both ends. I think there was a factory recall on some of the earlier NB model's. Mine is a 2001, the 1st year they added the VVT engine. What are your thoughts? I don't have a level spot to jack the car up for a few days. I want to order the short cable/wiring to the bulb ASAP. Today? But I'm asking if anyone knows of a common failure. Does the plug burn on the bulb side? Thanks for the simple, straight forward video.

Charles Mcgehee hey. Yeah I’m not sure what the problem is. I would check voltages and check to see if any of the auxiliary fuses are blown. But seems like an electrical problem you will have to trace. I haven’t heard if there are any common fog light wiring problems on the later model NBs.

Yeah that is my plan. It is a simple issue. And I have heard of those connectors failing. Hey it is an NB Miata. How hard can it be to repair! Yours looks nice. Thanks . Keep coming out with videos and I will keep viewing.
