Sympa le Costume du Chef. Ca me donne envie de créer un costume original pour Chef d'Orchestre. Ca change du noir tout court. C'est très original. Bravo! Quel bel Musique , c'est agréable à écouter. Je travaille chez moi en l'écoutant . Magnifique cadre. on se lasse pas des palettes de couleurs des briques illuminés par de belles couleur de projecteur. Le tout magnifie l'oeuvre exécutée.

One of the better piano interpretations IMO. Most pianists add too many embellishments which is antithetical to the American spirit in this music Gershwin was portraying or they rush through much of it, losing the subtly of the Jazzy influence Gershwin intended. The entire focus of this piece was to bring a more modern, new world sound to classical composition. When performed correctly, much of it has a "Manhattan in the 1920's" vibe to it. The Gershwin brothers wrote an enormous amount of music for Hollywood Cinema and Broadway Shows. With this and the few other such pieces, George Gershwin was seeking to bring something new to the rather stodgy world of classical music. He wasn't trying to emulate it.
