The comments section clearly demonstrates the social issue the short film attempted to raise. It seems there are so many males whose "male ego" and "religious sentiment" got hurt. They fail to understand that no religion was targeted in this short film, but rather how some people misuse and misinterpret religion which leads to extremism, and the short film merely tried to bring awareness to this fact. Just like the male character in the short film, whose conflicts are mostly internal but he does not deal with them and projects them outwardly as anger to others, these commenters are displaying a similar pattern.

Wow, what a short film. Hats off. Sadly, many parents are like this. It is nothing but child abuse. Parents who are repressed by their inner demons impose their unfulfilled dreams and desires on their children to get some sort of twisted gratification. In this short film, at the end of the day, the parents realize their mistake after the protagonist takes a drastic step. Some parents still won't realize it. And the question remains, why do people have to take drastic measures for the parents to have some sort of realization? Would talking to them have helped here? Realistically, the chances are slim. So what's the solution? I'd advise anyone living in such a condition to take a stand and break free. You don't have to be dependent on your parents. If you're an adult, you make your own luck and choices. You are not bound to listen to them if they force something you don't want on you. That's not how love or respect works. To the ones who will become parents in the future, don't be one unless you are ready to take the responsibility. And that does not only include providing for your children and wanting their best. Because as Voltaire once said, "It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere".

Excellent short film. Hope we can achieve this in real life where everyone can live together peacefully without discrimination and intolerance.

Nice concept and very well-executed. One of the better ones. So far, season 2 is turning out to be much better than Season 1. Season 1 felt somewhat weaker, especially from the extraordinary Projonmo Talkies season.
