What a gorgeous troop. They're such gentle giants. All they want is to eat and live in peace.

The permit to hike cost $700. The money is used to support the gorillas, all the National Parks of Uganda, and the local communities around the parks.

if you really love these animals than you will work towards alleviating and make comments regarding the crime against nature being perpetuated against those zoo animals which are held in that prison to pay the bills.....take a look at these gorillas in their surroundings and compare how those zoo gorillas are living.....then tell me if you can how "beautiful" they are to watch......all i see is destruction!.....and the death of spirit in captive animals.....................

@@jadezee6316 Thank you for your concern. I am not in favor of animals being held in captivity, but since they are, and there is little I can do about it, I am glad they are well cared for. I also appreciate that I can get such a close look at them which would be otherwise not possible. Also, allowing the public to see them so closely, allows them to learn to love these animals and results in more conservation efforts. These were not captured from the wild and caged.= which I am totally against. They were all born in the zoo.
