Hi Sissy! I love the Christmas decor! Looks warm and classy and not at all gawdy. I love the colors you chose for the decor. I really love the way you decorated the console tables! The fireplace is also very lovely! I have a large stone fireplace in my great room but I have to carefully lay the garland on top of the mantel because we have a wood burning fireplace and we don’t want the garland to catch fire, lol! Oh sissy, your Christmas decorations looks so beautiful in your house. Thank you for sharing them with us. I’ve got mine up too. It took me about three days just to decorate the tree. And when I got through decorating the house I had such a mess. I don’t know where I went wrong because I usually don’t have that much of a mess when I’m decorating but it was terrible. I wish I had your energy and your desire to decorate but I just don't anymore. I spend Christmas with my son, daughter in law and grandson and they decorate beautifully both for Christmas and Halloween. Thank you for sharing your crock pot recipe! I also make "Better Than Sex Cake", but I don't have a crock pot. It's amazing & the best cake I've ever had. The variation I make is baked in the oven in a 9"x13" rectangle pan. I use any type of chocolate cake mix, and bake it per the instructions on the box. I also add broken up pieces of Score candy bars in the batter, or you can use broken Almond Rocas. When the cake is done baking and is still hot, poke holes in the cake and pour a jar of Mrs. Richardson's Butterscotch Carmel over the top. Then cool the whole cake in the fridge. When it's chilled for a couple hours, spread a whole container of Cool Whip on the top. To finish it off, drizzle chocolate syrup over the Cool Whip. I always get asked to bring this cake when I'm invited to dinner, and potlucks. The Mrs. Richardson's Butterscotch Carmel is often hard to find, so I'm going to try using evaporated milk and Carmel syrup next time I make it. I would love to try this in a CrockPot once I get one.
