I used the effects from the guitars' pickups only. The more expensive one just sounds better. There are no added effects, other than what comes from the guitars themselves.

The 900 dollar guitar sounds just like the guitar you play all the time. I love it ❤

Not exactly fair, there were some effects added with the $900 plus the $500 wasn't well tuned, unless it has terrible tuning stability.

@@thisisdavidvarela They both had the eq effects on (just on the guitar's built in pickups) 😂 The $900's pickup just sounds better.

@westongrayguitar it's clearly got an added chorus and reverb effects to it. I have no doubts that on average it will sound better but it just seemed unfair to have added effects on one.

It's soft and it's okay. I would want more snappy sound like more distortion, natural from fingers. And more your own timing, like storytelling. I'm lousy to play with the methronome or so, but i play by ear quite well. 30 years. You play good, but I would want some edge there, like spirit. We all play like we do, don't please take offence this, it was not ment to be like that. To me it sounds like mechanical performance a bit. Give some time to other notes and play more quick others, so the rhytm is not like metronome. Maybe I don''t know my self what I'm talking about, but it makes it sound much more interesting.. Great tune btw! You play it well, this isn't about that. It's like stake with out spices, it's bland, no matter how good you cook it, but put right spices, then it's delicious!! So simple spice as a salt :)
