After being a visitor twice a year for the past 10 years, I’ve been living here for just over a year now. I never want to go back to America again. Even if the USD is strong. Everyday here is a blessing. But it’s not for everyone… plus, I live in Nagoya 笑う

I'm from America and I hate this stuff too. Except for the graffiti, I love graffiti. It is illegal to deface property with graffiti except with profess permission from the owner. The city where I'm from, there are a lot of business that hire graffiti artists to decorate walls of their business because it's seen as cool. And it works, I automatically think a business is gonna be cooler if they have professional graffiti on the side. Plus the tipping thing, tips are important because there are laws that suggest certain service jobs can make less than the minimum wage because they get tips. This sucks because say, a restaurant server, may only make $4 an hour, so they basically survive on tips. It's why I always leave a tip and will leave a big one if the service is very good.

Osaka, huh? 大阪か。I was just there a few months ago just to visit one of my older brothers and his family. ちょうど4ヶ月前、兄とその家族を訪ねるために大阪に行ったんだ。 I've even Uploaded my recording of my time there on my KZbin Channel. 僕のKZbinチャンネルには、その時の記録もアップしてあるんだ。

Lived there 5 years but in the countryside and was abused by my spouse. I hated Japan after a while too. Visiting was great though. Yes, lonely, depressed, and poor.

Nothing personal, I like Japan, want to go back again some day, and while I get the fact that some people are annoying and do their best to be annoying and not even try to learn the local customs or rules, but ive also grown up around foriegners. Most of my friends growing up were immigrants, Ive never lived abroad, but it often seems like I didnt have to in order to know that my culture and values werent the only set out there. If Japan is so much of a stickler in its policies where people are...agrivated (and based on some of the new tourist policies, I think it goes beyond that), that they cant adapt or at the least deal with it, then maybe Biden is right and Japan is a xenophobic nation.

I lived in Japan for years and loved every day of it. I've lived in four different parts of Japan. Very high standard of living, very low crime, unbelievably great cities and mass transit, secular and extremely well educated people, national health insurance even for foreigners with an address, I could go on. This guy's anti-Japanese bias is obvious. He complains about crowded trains for example. Actually, there are almost always multiple ways you can choose to go where you want in the larger cities and you can avoid crowded ones if you use your brain. The important thing is a positive attitude. The second most important thing is a willingness to work at learning to do things differently and learn a new, challenging language. These things can be difficult at times. For some it's just too much effort for them, or they like to have a negative attitude, or both. They'll blame their problems on anything but themselves.

I would argue that this same thing would happen with just moving to a different country. I’m LITERALLY Indian but just moved to India and it’s the same thing. The problem with Japan is that people are just dumb. Flat out dumb. Japan isn’t going to be the “UWU ANIME CRAZY FUN LAND” that people want. It’s just experiencing a it culture shock. More flexible people and people who can be realistic would move to Japan. No country is “good” or “bad”. It always depends. I want to move to Japan, but I know it’s not gonna be wonderland. But no country is “wonderland”. Like I said, No country is “good” or “bad”. So if you want to move, move , but know the big difference in culture.

The Japanese are unable to reflect on their past mistakes. If it smells like poop, you have to clean it up, but because we are a busy people who are busy covering it up, the smell keeps coming out. The Japanese don't know how to reflect.

Pickled juice has salt and vinegar that may help after physical activity. I'm not sure if that's true, but pickle juice is amazing as a briny salty sip. PLEASE try as a chaser for a whiskey shot. We call them picklebacks. You'll be blown away! Might not like it, but it's definitely worth the experience!

I think for moving to a entirely different country, those people tend to have the mistake of thinking that the country they're moving to will be a paradise, when in reality, this is never the case. Before moving to a country, people should also take time to learn the dark side of that country, set realistic expectations, and then prepare for some bad times, especially when you first move there. This way, you won't feel disappointed or end up hating this country
