You can not train for the future. Just as you need to develop modular systems, you will need to deveop modular skill sets so you can adapt to the unexpected. For example, don't train to be proficient on a specific system. Rather train on the skills that can be applied to a family of similar systems.

Kobra2 is the result of nearly 30 years of experience, and was undoubtedly developed with experience gained on real battlefields. It fought against the Russians in Georgia, Ukraine, Libya, Iraq and Syria, and the Cobra 1 was mounted on the capabilities of its older brother. It is definitely a first-class vehicle among those produced in Turkey and euro zone. I have no doubt that the Romanians will achieve similar quality since they have a strong automotive infrastructure. No, Otokar company will definitely create the necessary planning and business processes regarding this and ensure the realization of the production in Romania. Romanians should know this well, they bought the best infantry and special forces vehicle they could buy in its class and among its peers, this is a non-negotiable issue because I had this experience and I am still alive, Cobra1 provided this, I have no doubt that Cobra2 will do even better.

Someone should explain to you that it isn’t thrust vectoring that makes this a 5th gen engine - Russian fourth gen engines have 3D thrust vectoring. It is super cruise that makes the AL-51 a truly unique 5th gen engine. That is the ability to go supersonic without using afterburners. No engine in the world has this ability currently except the AL-51, and it is a “game changer” - assuming they can mass produce it.
@vladimirnikolskiy
@vladimirnikolskiy Ай бұрын
You're a little wrong. The AL-41F1 engine, which the SU-57 is currently equipped with, was put into mass production in 2018 and it is capable of developing supersonic speed without using afterburners. The cruising speed of an aircraft with these engines is 1300-1800 km/h (M = 1.0-1.5). The AL-51 engine will be more powerful and less noticeable in the thermal range.
@greggemerer8251
@greggemerer8251 Ай бұрын
@ My understanding is that super cruise is a holy grail that no one currently has. Could you please indicate your source for the info that an earlier generation engine already has this? I can read Russian, so please include any Russian source for this.

The bespectacled man says that he solved this problem and shouldn’t tell his enemies... and who called you an enemy? It is you, having created NATO, who are looking for someone to call the next enemy in order to drop the bombs of democracy on them and show the whole world that you are strong and can bomb shepherds in any country. in Russia they don’t call everyone enemies because they live on their own and aren’t looking for someone to bomb for the sake of demonstrating strength. And if you decided in the USA how to simplify engine maintenance, then why can’t the American F-22 and F-35 fight and are suitable for flying? only 30% of their composition and why does their maintenance after the flight take tens of times more hours than the flight lasted? in this case, Russian planes simply land, refuel, receive new missiles, change pilots and fly back into battle! American technologies are fragile and expensive, so Americans have the opinion that other countries in such conditions are experiencing the same difficulties.

Do you believe yourself when you say that in Russia the production of an engine for a combat aircraft has slowed down due to sanctions??? Do you know that in Russia all aviation engines for combat aircraft are produced only according to their own designs and only from their own components??? You probably think that Russia needs Europeans for this? did you know that Western companies paid a lot of money in the 1990s, buying Soviet aircraft engine developments from Russia? and now modern engines from Western companies use advanced technologies from Soviet aircraft engine developments!!!

@@claudiu8426 This is not complex machinery/military tech when compared to fighter jets, air-defense systems, etc, etc. A number of countries in the region produce such technology locally as part of their military industrial complexes. I am surprised that Romania didn't or at least not at the level that would have allowed them to produce their own machines without the help of a foreign country.

don't cry. it is clear that your propaganda has taught you to hate all countries that NATO cannot openly attack for fear of them. but this does not mean that you should consider everything that others invent to be bad. This engine is being developed for its aircraft in Russia, and then the main thing is whether its aircraft manufacturers will buy it. I assure you it will be a gorgeous engine, so it can be developed for as long as necessary. Many hastily developed engines in the West have a lot of problems and some took 30 years to develop. don’t worry about other people’s planes and engines, if you don’t threaten this country, don’t try to set up a military base, a biological laboratory on their border, organize mass unrest through your agents and overthrow governments friendly to them in neighboring countries, then no one will attack you and won’t call you enemy, as they like to do in the USA. because the United States is weak and it is important for them to demonstrate strength so that others do not understand this.
