Love 1958's version of 'I Enjoy' by Pat Sukiyaki. It's different from her other versions. I958 is her snappy hyper version.

One of the more popular Alfred Hitchcock Presents episodes. Starring Peter Lorre and Steve McQueen. The young woman in the episode is Filipino born Nelle Adams who was married to McQueen at the time. Story written by Roald Dahl as was another great AHP episode 'Lamb to the Slaughter '

Does anyone know when this was filmed? I swear there's a touch of Leonard Bernstein West Side Story style to the background music even though it's a Rodgers and Hammerstein song. I wondered if it might have been filmed around the time West Side Story came out which was about 1961.

Ha-ha-ha...this is CLASSIC! The whole time I was looking for and waiting for Steve McQueen to come on, maybe before or after the skit; and, all the time...he is the Japanese officer!?!? I didn't even notice him until the end!?!? Ha-ha-ha...what a dumbass I am...and, I love McQueen! "What a GREAT PERFORMANCE!" And...by two INCREDIBLY TALENTED showmen! I love this even moreso since I didn't even notice Steve McQueen! Who'd'a thought Steve McQueen would'a done a skit like this, being the serious tough-guy he was!?!? What a DOPE I am! :D Hee-hee-hee! A+++ Performance! :)

I, too, have liked Steve McQueen all my life and only now have seen this! What a great skit - Steve McQueen; Bob Hope; Jayne Mansfield; and, Steve's beautiful wife, Neile (I don't know who the other two women are; nor, the Shore Patrol man!?). Only one of two times I've ever seen Steve and Neile perform together...the other time was on "Alfred Hitchcock Presents."

I forget the last name of the singer/ dancer named Fran with J.M. but the "SP " was long time Hope USO troupe comedic actor Jerry Colorado. He appears in a McHale's Navy episode bc he toured w Hope in WWII.

walleyrange Actually his sense of humor and ability to do comedy was an important dimension of the "cool" persona. McQueen could dance pretty good too. He was never "too cool" to dance. He loved dancers and musicians and the most important person in his life, his first wife Neile, was a successful dancer/actress/singer making over 12 times the money he was when they first started living together.

I read your book. It was a wonderful love story. It was the kind of story that could only be told by someone who really knew the whole story and by someone who obviously loved him very much. I hope that if a movie is done that is done while you are around to make sure that it tells the good and not just focus on the crazy stuff.
