@MrKremerScience21 күн бұрын
@@alexanderwang5060 no I don’t think so. Most of the content is similar. It’s just been reorganized. There are a few differences in topic 1 about the sustainability frameworks that did not appear in the old syllabus.

Did u see the chart of carbon in atmosphere for the past 200 mil years? Gl doing anything about natural temp and carbon ups and lows(we might be fine since it happens ciclical)
@MrKremerScience22 күн бұрын
Yes I have seen those CO2 graphs. The important part is the *rate of change* of atmospheric CO2. Yes it has been and always will be cyclical on geological timescales of millions of years. Throughout Earth's history, whenever there's been a rapid change in CO2 levels (up or down), there's been a mass extinction event as species struggle to survive a rapidly changing climate. The *rate* of atmospheric CO2 increase over the past 200 years is significantly higher than at any time since the K-T event that wiped out the dinosaurs - an extinction event brought about by rapid climate change.

And then there’s a big fire beneath our feet of molten magma basically rocks just burning on fire there’s all that smoke that would be coming off of it where would it be going or no whenever you smoke whether it’s a tobacco pipe or a pot pipe there’s gonna be a resin build up when you smoke cigarettes do you have a Tara build up in your lungs, same thing as part of smokers and cigars

Wait, microplastics absorb contaminants? This is like DDT but completely out of our control at this point. So are we basically waiting for a public health crisis to hit us?
@MrKremerScience2 ай бұрын
Yes microplastics are small enough that many pollutant particles cling to them (kind of like rain droplets forming around a “seed” particle in clouds). As they get eaten they work their way up the food chain, especially in marine food webs, and can impact human health - not to mention how they affect the organisms that rare eating them daily.
