I've had brand new 1976 TS100 & 2nd hand 1980 TS 250 but would have loved a 400, they must have been a blast as the 250 was rapid,

I had a brand new 1976 ts100 as well. Four gears to get up to 30 mph, then top would take you up to 60 or 65. Lovely little machine, my first motorcycle.

I have a 1975 DT 400 , that I am restoring . In the next few days I am going to sandblast the frame and powder coat it , the engine and transmission are all done, I also have a 1976 DT 250 that I restored last year and I love these two vintage bikes. They are enduro bikes good for riding pretty much anywhere

Parabéns pela moto. Brilhante trabalho. No tempo de 1:52 dá pra fazer um print da tela e fazer um poster.

Lots of beautiful R1100S examples in your video. Mine was identical to the one shown at 5:50 except I always had the "city cases" attached when out riding. The one I like best is shown at 3:50 and I don't think I've ever seen a real photo of it outside of a BMW brochure. Back in late 2001 that's the color scheme I would've purchased instead of the cloud blue color.

Best bike i ever had. It can still hold its head up high today
Great video for anyone who doesn't know how to do a Google image search and also doesn't like to look at pictures for more than 3 seconds.

The Yamaha RD series were the top of motor cycle engineering in the 70s that was aimed at speed. They produced fast bikes that broke records on the race trace an then built them in the factories. Yamaha had won the 125/250/500 world racing championship and records at one point. There only revival on the track were Suzuki.

Such a machine as at 0:23 had some years also. Only slightly modified, mudguards in the front, a slim bracket behind the seat to allow the pillion rider to hold on better and a 4-1 Bimota exhaust system. It already had 120PS and was a dream.
