In 2010, I presented this song as a project in my electronic music class. That was the day I realized I was no longer a student, but a teacher. Idk if anyone learned anything that day, but to this day I acknowledge how very important it was that I chose this song. I don’t think anyone else chose a song that resonated with the entire class quite like this. Thank you Mr. Blank for allowing me to present this beautiful song

I know Kurt Cobain was a very opinionated person but I feel like if I was going into a studio to record something I would either just let the producer do his thing or get a different producer

It’s like Kurt is playing the kidnapper part. And this kidnapper has a cheap guitar in his seedy room with the girl.

0:34 bro you just played Chad's part and Kurt told you to keep it simple. It was not an unspoken rule. It was spoken. Don't make revisionist history

Imagine how he felt recording this and seeing that level of talent up close. Before the fame and celebrity, Kurt was just a great writer, truly great, as well as a brilliant singer and musician. It must have been absolutely profound for Butch to witness this masterpiece being created and and seeing that talent up close. It must have been so evident and leagues above what he’s ever seen preciously. He must have had chills constantly.
