What a joke. japan isn’t a predominantly Christian country. Why the F would this KZbinr imply that it is?!

All nice dishes. "lighter than hospital food" - very funny! Good try on the cake, they never look like the photos. I suspect they buy store cakes. Merry Christmas from Oregon US.

I will have to try this, I'm planning to go to my local Asian grocery store tomorrow. I have tried natto, and a brand that is supposed to be mild, but I hated it, and that was funny to me because I am not picky and love most fermented foods! Even funnier, my kid was just 3 at the time and a very picky eater, but he devoured the rest of the TKG + natto bowl I made! (I am in the US but we raised our own chickens for eggs so they were very fresh eggs). I will have to try cooking natto in fried rice. I sometimes wonder if the dislike of natto is related to the dislike of cilantro/coriander, I know for a fact that I have the gene that makes cilantro taste like soap.

We eat konnyaku/shirataki in the USA, but it's considered a diet food since it has very few calories. There is even a popular brand called "Miracle Noodle" that doesn't need to be blanched first. Your videos are great and I love your commentary and jokes!

The pan is too crowded with ingredients. If you brown the chicken by itself and remove it from the pan, then cook veggies and then add the chicken breast back, it will turn out better. Adding flour to chicken does not make it tender. Chicken breast becomes tough when you overcook it - try cooking it for a shorter amount of time, or switch to thighs which are naturally more tender.

Fun video to watch, and the food looked good! If I might suggest, have you tried a pinch grip with the knife? index finger wrapping over the bolster, middle finger behind, and thumb pinching between the two. I find I have a lot more control over the knife, personally. Also, I'm no trained chef in any sense, but I believe baking soda helps tenderize meat rather than flour. Hope this helps, and doesn't come across as rude. I'd eat any of the dishes you made! Best of luck to you!
@daicook5039 ай бұрын
Thank you for your positive comments and great advice! I'm trying to hold the knife the right way too, but I always do it the way I'm used to. I guess I still need more practice. And I didn’t know that baking soda tenderizes meat. I will try it next time! Sorry if my English is poor. Thanks for enjoying my videos(*'ω'*)
