Thanks. I had 9 songs for the album and then I thought I'd add one more so I wrote this song last month. I was listening to a lot of Pink Floyd at the time so the vibe is kinda inspired by their song 'Mother'. But I also had my own personal inspirations for the subject and emotion of it

F I R S T! I'm digging your style a lot. It has a thing of being inspired by the 60s and 70s and coming out a bit early 90s as a result. Good motto too (about making *insert artform* that you would like to have around).

Thanks so much. Yeh, I'm definitely aiming for a kind of 70s studio sound, something along the lines of Fleetwood Mac

It can be more effective to create the small stopper knot *after* creating the arbor knot and pulling it taut. Otherwise the knot prevents tightening all the way back to the tied off object (chair post in this case)

Thanks you sir. Can I use one of these on each end of a rope for a tarp or will they not tighten themselves like this?
@daviddudenkov49894 жыл бұрын
isn't that a slip knot?
@matthewc.ganong54973 жыл бұрын
It's a noose, which behaves like a slip knot except that it tightens when one pulls on the standing rope, instead of the working end, as is the case with a slip knot. This noose around an object backed up with a stopper knot as you see in the video is called an arbor knot, and it is typically used to attach fishing line to the spool of the reel.
