The mods are half the fun! A year in, do you still have the Catch 100 and do you like it?…I’ve had my Catch 120 for several years, now, and still love it!

Yes I still have the catch 100 I really enjoy it. I was looking to get the 120 but at the time they were all out of stock everywhere. I want to do the mods like you did with your 120 with the box underneath the seat. you were my inspiration for getting the catch. I haven't got to do as much fishing as I like hopefully I'll be getting out more this year.

My PFD is a Stohlquist, and even it doesn't have hand-warmer pockets on it! I'd have to plead guilty to not always wearing mine, although if I'm not wearing it, it IS at least very accessible...no stowing it in hatches, etc.! Also important, if you're kayaking anywhere in the US, and that PFD doesn't say "US Coast Guard Approved" inside it, it's not legal! I have a couple Onyx's, though not nearly as nice as yours, and they're USCG approved, but some brands, NRS comes to mind, has some that are and some that aren't...so be sure to check! Stay Safe!

Pretty pond! Love fishing places like that with ultralight gear, too. A kayak would make a whole lot more of that pond accessible...I bet there's a ton of good fish in there, I'd be tempted to put one of those smaller bluegill back out there and find out! 12:30 was a nice shellcracker. Stay Safe!

A fish bed is basically a nest. When bass spawn the Male will clean a spot so that the female can lay her eggs in the bed and then the Male will fertilize the eggs. Bass are very aggresive and will keep everything out of the bed.
