I am an independent geriatric consultant that does all the work for my clients. You hit on everything I look for when finding the right place for my families. If I don’t get a feeling that the community won’t embrace my clients as a part of the family I won’t make the referral.

This is so important: yes, on the tour, people are looking at how staff interact with residence, they’re observing. You’re not listening to the list of features. Good stuff.
