Yes it was very unenjoyable. 15 ft wide. I can’t afford a folding model and can’t load on a trailer when full of water. It was my only option given the budget.

It was not for views and comments. If you don’t know anything about it feel free not to touch it. Certain things about this machine must be done with it running. For example sharpening and setting the shear bar. It should be automated but due to age I must do it manually. Just can’t be stupid about it and gotta think through every move.

We used to run a fx60 on our farm. Traded it in on a krone. I do miss the fx, it was a good chopper just wish parts available wasn’t such a issue for them. They were dam good machines! Great explanation on the video

The knifes cut what we call a slighting cut, not the whole width at once but from right to left. Its used and more effective mainly with fibre materials like any type of plants...wood..etc.

This guy is pointing at a shaft spinning (right side) and he is wearing LOOSE CLOTHING. Good way to get killed by your clothes dragging you in. BE SAFE with SPINNING COGS, PTOs and HEAVY EQUIPMENT. You can get KILLED. Shut off the machine FIRST. SAFETY FIRST !

I got nowhere near the shaft. I’m not that dumb. Always conscious of moving parts. I have seen what that can do. I maintain this machine and am aware of how it works and the 3001 ways it could end my life.

Interesting comments section… I’ve had to do this exact same thing to a wrench a few times working on different machinery at work! (Im a millwright/industrial mechanic) And even some vehicles I’ve worked on! Because sometimes, even if you DO have a thin/stubby socket, and extensions, you just can’t fit a socket on some bolts/nuts! And shaving down a wrench, might just work some times! Barely… but I’ve done it more than a few times!

You’d need a reeeaallyy stubby socket to fit for all these geniuses hollering swivel. The clearance to the rear is almost none. I have a box full of altered wrenches. Comment section stop pretending to understand cause you know a word called swivel. Shut the hell up
