Everyone's still talking about the Ravens as if nothing happened. Wow. Okay In the last 2 S-Bs alone just by observing the opposing defenses, Andy Reid schemed plays that led to 3 TDs that would never have occurred had he not been there. 3. Two won those games. So having a coach observe the game & adjust to changes made were required to help even The Best QB win games. The Ravens' play-callers called RPOs allowing Lamar to make all decisions from where he _couldn't_ observe the opposing defense's actions & schemes, completely abandoning him in a playoff game against Reid, Spagnuolo & Mahomes & you're all talking like "oh well, that's Lamar for ya. _He_ can't win the big games." All you leave out from that statement is "when his own coaches refuse to help him At All." Please name me _all_ the other NFL QBs who won games despite or without someone else calling the plays? Like how do you all not _see_ how utterly ridiculous this is? Had Mahomes been left to call all his own plays _he'd_ have lost that game. If you watch the games & don't see that, how are any of your projections or opinions supposed to be taken seriously? The Ravens' coaches abandon their players in the Biggest Games & _get to keep their jobs!!?!_ "Uhh, let's talk about this as if it's a non-factor. I think Mark Andrews will have..."

I assume this was recorded before the Stephen Jones comments on the Cowboys RB room (where he talked up Freeman and made it sound like Dowdle was competing for a roster spot). How are you thinking about Dowdle now?
@mjm_artistry
@mjm_artistry 23 күн бұрын
Freeman is 28 with a career 3.8yc and he's the third back on the roster. Dowdle isn't getting cut. He's RB1B. Zeke has ZERO explosion. Defenses will love it when he's on the field. Freeman also has ZERO explosion. They need Dowdle.

Keenan Up, not DJ Down. Metcalf/Moore/Diggs is a tier break so no room to move down
@joshliam1967
@joshliam1967 27 күн бұрын
I'd argue for both at once - By Underdog ADP I would feel comfortable taking DJ Moore around where Amari Cooper is going at pick 40, and think Keenan Allen should be at pick 49 ahead of Mclaurin (I would personally never take Mclaurin over Allen)

You're right. Caleb will call all his own plays & everything will work as we imagine. After all, if they let Waldron call plays he might do what he did with JSN & force a receiver all year into plays that can't work & neutralize them. Up only. Hey, but why worry. He only witnessed how Canales resurrected Geno's career for _one_ year. Just because Geno was still top-10, 4th lowest in off-target passes with the additions of Charbonnet, Bobo & JSN along with that road map to success Canales showed him, that's no reason to expect him to be able to do well with the offense. Then there's Eberflus: what great decision-making on his part to allow the offense to flourish weeks 8-10 of '22. This killed the attention he & Fields were drawing to _his_ bad play-calling after Fields called him out. After that died down & he returned to the plays that yielded half as much offensive production You The Fans were only too glad to revive the memes about Fields that Only Existed _BECAUSE_ of his bad play-calling. Whuzzat? Getsy called all the plays & sucked? Well then explain how, after _seeing the team score at least 2X as many points under one set of plays_ Eberflus allowed Getsy to put his bad plays back? Either Getsy schemed the good ones &/or Eberflus lacks the capacity to recognize them because how can an OC override the HC who can & did fire him? If we the fans noticed all this, how does Eberflus not yet remain seen as having any competence whatever? I suppose you _could_ make a case for this all being shrewd moves to have an excuse to move on from Fields to get Caleb. & all anyone would have to accept then was that this _was_ all intended. & if so, Caleb they got. It all worked out. So long as Caleb is a superior passer to Fields who can laser in passes that hit his receivers in the hands with tremendous accuracy whereas Fields often lofted Pretty Spirals that missed their mark even when not pressured, then you got the superior QB like this video of kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3uyYoOpqtV5lbc their college highlights spliced together proves. One of them is launching Pretty Spirals, the other getting the ball to his receivers efficiently, quickly, before defenders can make plays on even covered receivers leading to more YAC. So as long as that's the one Caleb is...

Have to disagree with Gretch on the AR5 / Taylor discussions. Everything in Richardson albeit limited sample size points to the rushing TD metric swinging Richardsons way. Even if you disregard prospect profile and build, the sample size combined with Steichens previous experiences are major indicators that Richardson will be the goal line monster. The colts cannot afford to not run Richardson as it's a huge part of his game.
