Great choice, Joko - I enjoyed this. The vocal additions worked really well. Thank you, matey! :-)

I loved the Billy Mack character in the movie I associate with this tune! Great effects on the uke! Is that a flange? Whatever it is, it fits perfectly ~

Yeah, it's really a drag how both these non-human entities, just took the bait and became puppets on strings.....

The Billy Mack story line is one of the best things about Lovely Actually, the rest I can’t take or leave. So it’s good that you picked this Joko 👍

Gosh. I had not expected this film to still be around, but here it is 20 years later. Back in our local cinema this week! I am glad you brought it along.

Humming along, but these lyrics are brand new to me. Great job, Joko.

thank you but these lines are from the song in Love Actually (the best Christmas Movie alll time) sang by billly mack.
Works well on the uke. She really says “eff you” in the song? 😂

It's working now! Terrific bring, Joko. As I said on John's Cardigan, Folklore is my favourite Taylor album. I think because it arrived so unexpectedly during Covid. It really blew me away. Love this, mate. You quite often have a cool, Daniel Johnston vibe going on and that's definitely the case here. Made it your own. Great cover!

Wow! Thanks to you both! Great job on the pictures. Where did you find Genghis Khan images? Is it a "cover" if Dylan wrote it?

It didn't take you long to come up with a 669 song and a musical partner. Or were you already working on the mashup for 668? Anyway, you're way ahead of me, Joko!

Ooh, a new song on me, Joko. Fine performance and such a clear recording. Have you changed your gear?
@JokoLondo20 күн бұрын
No, the 16 year-old Oscar Schmidt tenor I'm playing was my second ever uke. In recent years, it didn't plug in very well, the connections in the pre-amp had suffered wear and tear. Just recently, I brought it into my trusted local luthier who tightened everything up. It's actually plugged directly into my USB interface.;

@Bystander92924 күн бұрын
Anthemic soft rock songs certainly appeal to me. Sounding really good here Joko, enjoying the plugged in sound and is that a bass you’ve got going there ?
@JokoLondo24 күн бұрын
Thank you, very kind. I knew had to overdub some vocals for the COME SAIL AWAY parts, so I added a very basic bass line while doing so. I'm developing an opinion on bass similar to spices on a pizza, - sounds better with it on - but if rises to the point of being noticeable then its too much.
