I also think that is a good movie. Many hated it because he is not the Joker from comics. He is just joker, because he jsut wanted to be a stand up comedian.

If they knew what they where doing. They should of added DR Hugo Strange and his manipulative behavior he had over those in his care. Instead we get a musical because we have a famous singer and story about personal madness without any exploration of why or how.

I've studied films for the last ten years, 2013 professionally. I am a film producer, write screenplays and am well regarded in the screenwriting industry. Have done like 2 films so far, earned a distinction in production, credit in screenwriting and got offered to go to AFTRS - a film school in Australia. Now all that hogwash is out of the way. I've seen pretty much EVERY film. This film is a mainstream arthouse film. I went in expecting it to be absolutely rubbish however as a student of the craft and lover of film, I loved it. It realistically depicts the consequences of Arthur's actions. His mind wanders to these musical places to deal with his miserable existance. I feel this film will gain a cult following. The cinematography is literally award winning. The acting is amazing. People just hate 1. the music and 2. the story + what happens to Arthur. But this film is about a mentally ill guy who believes he's the Joker.

Well that was very well made. The editing was top notch as well as the overall filming. I have to give a lot of praise to Aidan for his performance showing a lot of emotion in his eyes. The letter scene remind me of Silent Hill 2 where its packed full of emotion and overall tragedy. If you get the chance, watch a playthrough of silent hill 2 you won't regret it. Overall, i enjoyed it very much and 3 months of hard work has certainly paid off.
