Gosh, I'm sure glad Sammy is paying such a loving tribute to Eddie by playing 3 songs from his Solo career, and Satriani doing his usual, Soul-Less noodling on the fretboard. I love Sammy, Michael and Jason, but this Tour is a total joke, and way off message for being a "Best of All (VH) Worlds" tour.
@AdamAcrossAmericaАй бұрын
I think what he meant by “All Worlds” was that he was going to be playing Sammy-era VH, DLR-era VH, Solo Sammy, and Joe Satriani songs. Was hoping Satch would play Eruption. Not sure how you can call him soul-less… his Surfing With the Alien album is one of the greatest guitar albums of all time. And I wasn’t expecting them to sound nearly as good as they did. They were incredible.

Always cracks me up how the EVH fans cant give Joe any credit. Why cant we love both players? Why cant we appreciate both? It's not a good look for the guitar community...

I saw them this past Saturday night. Wow! Sammy still rocks hard, Michael Anthony is still awesome, Joe is equal to Eddie, and Jason Bonham had me thinking "Alex Who?"

No way, these guys are pros. There are bands 20 years younger that are shells of their former selves that parade themselves around onstage damaging their legacy. This was the first time I ever saw The Stones in concert…. And that’s what I got: The Rolling Stones! It was a great show! 😃

That’s funny considering 3 of the songs just came out last year… 🤔. But these guys are legends! Of course they are going to play the hits! But, one thing I like is that they mix it up a little every night. They always rotate the deep cuts. But they limit that because they know that people want the hits! This was my first time seeing them ever and I had my 19 year old daughter with me. These guys started playing when JFK was president! These guys ARE Rock n Roll history! They are part of American history. More generations have listened to this band than any other in history. Seeing them was truly an honor and they were amazing! 😃

Bad viewing angle, too far from stage, cell phone audio is poor at best. I do not know why people insist on uploading crap recordings like this. 556 views, 5 likes, that should tell you something!

They won’t be playing today’s music 50 years from now, but they will still be playing The Stones 🤘

Personally, I think they sounded great! I’d never seen them before. They are 80 years old and I wondered how they would sound. One thing I can tell you is that these guys are pros. So many of the bands from the 80’s who are 20 years younger have not taken care of themselves and are shells of their former selves. They might be older and have lost a step, but when you see the Stones you get the Stones. Mick was all over that stage. I pray I have his energy when I’m 81 😃
