The trx is cool intil the 1000hp and 2000hp trucks start lining up. Then its just overpriced and underbuilt. I just cant respect the price/power ratio. Its ass.

@Diddly’s Customs I am thinking of buying a new CRF300L for my daily commute to work. How many miles can this bike go on for before it gives up? Or do I just rebuild it like a regular dirt bike?

I know this video is three years old, I’ve been away from motorcycling for about eight years, but I rode a generation two Hayabusa from 2008 to about 2015 and I want to get a smaller super Moto and I know there’s the DRZ but I’m 6 foot four and over 230 pounds And I love the way this bike sits so tall. Used to work for Honda automotive for 15 years and I remember the old slogan, “follow the leader, he’s on a Honda!”

I live in Soldotna and just got my first motorcycle a few months ago. Honda CRF300L and love it! How do you think the Timbersled 120 riot kit would do on it? Its mostly flat here and we don't get tons of powder like in the mountains. 90% of my riding would be ditches, swamps, lakes, etc.
@DIDDLYWAYNE10 ай бұрын
Sick! I’m not sure timbersled makes the conversion kits for the 300Ls the 450L was kind of a dog in the hills but it tractored up everything I pointed it at. I would definitely look into getting a dedicated 450 if you’re going to go that route
@aknmtbr10 ай бұрын
Thanks! I’ll just wait till I grow out of the 300! Maybe just buy a decent used snowmachine for the same price. Although packed snow riding is boring on a snowmachine.

Any longevity concern with the thermostat delete? It seems to me that it would take the engine longer to come up to temp and cause some amount of extra wear that way, but I don't know how much of a difference that makes in the real world.

I bought the same carrier to haul my 150cc scooter on my motorhome. Great video, though I would have liked to see your bike strapped down and see you haul it. I had to buy a double reciever for my hitch as the ramp is much too short to get my scooter onto the carrier. So the double hitch hangs lower and this works. I also have a bike rack I had hoped I could use with it also but it is too close to carry bicycles along with the scooter. I put the scooter on the carrier and it was very shaky so I ordered a hitch stabilizer such as you are using here. The company claims this carrier can hold up to 500 pounds but even my 230 pound scooter makes me nervous on this. Make sure you do not exceed the tongue weight on your hitch. Mine is 300 pounds. I have 2 other motorcycles both of which weigh around 500 pounds each. This carrier would never work and even it could carry those bikes the hitch would not suffice.

out of curiosity when you changed to the 17" wheels how much did that drop the seat height?
@vertvlogs675 Жыл бұрын
I didn't measure when I did my conversion. But going from the stock wheels to the supermoto wheels made me go from standing on my toes with both feet down to being able to flat foot on both sides. I'd guess it dropped the seat an inch or two.
