Thanks to everyone who made the effort to rideout to this event. Great to see some great engineering on two wheels here. I personally rode the prototype green, military M1030M1 multifuel Kawasaki KLR out from the U.K. to this event. Notice there are still a few attendees who ride petrol powered bikes. We encourage them to build their own machines. An interesting campsite with its own beer fridge & great facilities. Who knows, one day, we may even be invited back to Brauahof Wilshausr?

I worked at a company that had an account for petrol at the local Kawasaki dealer. I used to drool over the bikes being on an FS1E. At that time all their bikes just made my jaw drop. The triples and then the Z900. Kawasaki just had a habit of making bikes that looked amazing.

Whiteways is the café atop Bury Hill in West Sussex, U.K. I just happened to be there when the Kawasaki club stopped by so took the opportunity to photograph the bikes & share.

All you youngins have fun, been there done that. Raced, built, and owned around 12 H-1's and H-2's inc a full on European 750 H-2 in gold with rearsets and low bar along with chambers. It was a great time to be into motorsports. I'm 76 now, but the memories still linger !

Guys what are you all using as transmission ?? A Harley gearbox ??

It all depends on how you decide to mount the engine. BMW K75/100 gearboxes & cluch are used if you are planning on a shaft drive bike. Others use the old Royal Enfield box as it’s a separate & cheap. Not great for handling massive torque but ok for most bikes. Harley or Ultima boxes are heavier & more expensive. Some use snow mobile CVT’s. Hope that helps.
