Houston we have a problem!!! Looking at the individual with their fingers stuffed firmly in their ears in the background trying to prevent permanent hearing loss and the fact that it sounds like concorde taking off I can't see how this can possibly be used in an automobile no matter how lightweight or efficient it is .

Have a mint k6 and bought a k7 new when they first came out.FUCK ME IT WAS GUT LESS AND WORST BIKE I EVER OWNED. Sold it with 900 miles on it. Iv still got my k6 and its 2018 and it will never leave my garage.

that has to be the worst footage ever. I've not yet seen any footage from bladen themselves as the successful completion of this motor.

+papertech202 You needed to prove the concept of an axial flow motor working, you failed because you allowed such low quality footage to be released. Reasonable recording equipment did exist 8 years ago. I'm sure bladen jets were thrilled with this sort of publicity.

+wraith01mg this was never intended to be anything more than a short video clip shot on an old camera to show a few mates the jet engine that a couple of very good friends had developed. I did not need to prove anything.

@@papertech202 You are absolutely right - no one is paying you for putting up these videos :) It is, however, still the only video on KZbin of one of these turbines running. If you could get more, a lot of people would like to see it :)

This is really cool! Yet, despite the name, with all the years and capital investment in R&D on miniature axial-flow turbo-machinery, the focus has now switched to stationary and vehicle onboard power generation... no longer on jet-propulsion (which was the whole point of all of this in the first place.)

They're called Riser bars most Mountain bikes have them but really high end bikes have longer ones.

Eclipse are a bunch of sleazy scammers who used williams jet to con investors. But the williams jet needed more development too. During the first real world test it developed half the thrust it was supposed too for a couple reasons. Hopefully his son or someone will continue developing the engine. The aerospace industry is incredibly hidebound though.. theyre all about keeping the job not being innovative

Love it, if you pause it on exactly 36 seconds, you can see me, in white t-shirt and urban camo shorts stood outside garage36/37. I had a horrendous hangover and didn't get out until after lunch on the sunday. Good Vid

This is just my idea, but i guess it would work. Yoshi japan header and dual growler slip ons = needs shitload amount of money but that would be full system then. :)
