Actually, we are not very much concern about climate change and as you said country like India is more vulnerable and the people living in poverty will face more adverse impact of climate change.. But who are going to bother about it everything is going as usual buying cars , making big ,big roads in hilly areas cutting forests and so on .. People became self centred but they are living in co -existence . What ever you give you will get same, it is a reciprocal relationship. If you are sensitive you think about it but sometime you feel very hopeless. I think decision should be taken by the higher authority such as our government. Goverment should make very strong rules to keep our environment safe healthy and preserve our natural resources.

What is the difference between saying "I want a second wife" vs "I want a second wife because I'm worried our lineage will die if you die"? Similarly, Devavratta deciding to stay celibate is also hardly adharma unless there is some stated dharma that everyone should have children. If so, how do you explain the presence of Shakuni in a society which values progeny as dharmic. We need to reexamine some of the received truthiness of Mahabharata's implications.
