Making oaths, bowing at altars to pagan gods and signing one's name in a book to make a covenant with a entities you don't understand is not the way. You still have time to seek the truth but you must open your own eyes to see.

The ignorant, racist comments sickens me. First and foremost, some 🙋🏿♂️ would say that a African-Hebraic people representing Greek letters would DEFINITELY be cultural appropriation. The Gentile lady is probably the only Greek on the line...but THAT'S another lesson. As a people WE are the LIGHT of the world but sadly we perish for lack of knowledge. To allow the racism of the oppressor to shape our minds to follow after THEIR evil is insanity. The strength of ANY nation or organization is INCLUSION. #Elevate #TheSpiritOfYAH

Considering that we didn't create the racial divide in the first place, I think it's ok for us to have feelings about someone who is of the race of people who have constantly and consistently appropriated our culture. I can't stand it when someone tries to reprimand black people for having feelings about our culture. What real reason does a white/non black person have to want to join a D9 organization? Culturally, they don't fit, and much of D9's expression of their organizations, are an expression of black culture. We have every right to have feelings about the infiltration of our culture.

I could barely understand what was being said. Congratulations to each of these women! For all of you calling out the white women, just stop it please! Know one who don't know her don't know why she chose to join DST sorority. She's not the 1st nor will she be the last to join a historically black greek organization! For all we know she might have been adopted by a black family & her mother is a DST. Maybe, her white family has always been a part of the civil rights movement & her decision to join a historically black greek organization is something she has always dreamed of, maybe, she researched all historically black sororities & felt a connection to the black culture that she couldn't connect with to a traditional white sorority. Maybe, she understand the struggle of blacks & although she may have never experienced it, she connects with us! Remember blacks weren't the only ones who marched with civil right icons, who sat at lunch counters or experienced the hoses & police dogs. White who protested with blacks also had to deal with discrimination in their own communities, being ostersizied & called slurs like N-lover when all they wanted to do was see equality for all humans!
@sherylpetite4022 жыл бұрын
Thanks for pointing this out Sis. No one knows this girl, but they are making all sorts of negative assumptions about her so I just felt like as a long time (41 years) member of a D9 organization I wanted to support her sister to sister. She might be from a black hood, in a mostly black town and just want to join the same sorority as her friends. That’s really what it comes down to, she clicks with them, they obviously click with her and she is their sister. I will absolutely defend that.

@cocolyndon46042 жыл бұрын
@@elisageorge2261 No, it's not the normalcy among two dark skin parents. It can happen and I am well aware of that due to a recessive gene but, in most cases it does not. Other times it's albinism (also a gene), or possibly the woman cheated and won't admit to it. Anyway, do your research.
