The song I love the best it's not Saturday Night Fever that's number two the one with all you brothers sitting on a stool and you singing with a star under your stool. This is a beautiful song! Chubby, you have always been my crush from the moment I saw you singing Check It Out on Soul Train with your wonderful brothers when I was about 16 years old,I had attended The Disco Ball years ago in Atlantic City and I told my then boyfriend that I had to run down to the stage to try and shake your hand .I left him sitting and I tried my best to rush through the crowd and make my way down to the stage as you all were singing the last song ,Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel but the crowd just got thicker and thicker as I neared the stage and sadly I just could not get through.. I got as close to about 15 feet from the stage. The crowd and the energy there was electric!!!!!! As you were exiting the stage you did a split which completely FLOORED ME and as an RN I was shocked at how flexible you still were!!!!! Well, you are STILL MY CRUSH even after all of these years!!! I pray🙏🏿 that through God you enjoy continued good health and that you get stronger and stronger each day, each week, each month, and each year and maybe one day I WILL get to shake your hand!!!!💕💕💕 P.S. I know that I am late but I just bought your 2 CDs Jealousy AND Can't Knock Me Down from Amazon and I enjoyed the songs IMMENSELY !!! CHUBBY,MY FOREVER CRUSH.......YOU STILL GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!

@@elsaalcala5486 Is this really you? I had to watch this video a few times. Tavares has been my group of choice since you formed. My heart ached for your tragic loss of sister and son . I prayed for your recovery. God wasnt ready for you yet. The group had many more years of enhancing the lives of others with your music messages. I am 78 now, very disabled from bad accident . God keeps me going....but your music album and you brothers keep me uplifted with your music, vintage group videos and happiness they provide to me. I just want to thank you and say hello to you. Many come to see you....but please know how hopeful you make us shut ins feel. You lift our lives also. Maybe we will meet in Heaven someday...
