After applying touch on , you still have to dry the car right?
@detailtherapy4 күн бұрын
If you’re not using filtered water yes. I use a battery powered leaf blower. Zero contact and get all the water out of the seams too.

Great job on the swirly bits! That looked like a proper challenge to get rid of. What's with the Chevrolet Silverado title tho? Something left over from another video?
@detailtherapy9 күн бұрын
Ta. Yeah Adobe crashed when I was editing and I didn’t notice until it went live that I hadn’t changed the title 🤦♂️

Haven't used this. I really like the Gyeon wet coat, application is very easy.
@detailtherapyАй бұрын
I actually had a horrible time with wet coat. It left a horrible greasy mess behind. I feel like I was the problem (as I know Gyeon do have good products), but I did follow instructions, so who knows.
@lukenukem1164Ай бұрын
@detailtherapy I've used it for about a year. Very little is required and you spread it whilst rinsing but need to be very thorough!! Very little for example I do 3-4 sprays for a door size panel.
@detailtherapyАй бұрын
@@lukenukem1164 I’ll give it another go. I got 2 bottles free with an order I made so might as well figure it out. 👍

I did the exact same thing to my Z in 2023, I’ve owned it since early 2018. The feeling of sitting inside is completely different now. Everything and I mean everything is now back to near factory condition. Detailing is awesome

Thank you. Keep changing my mind on it. Was thinking about wrapping the rest of it a crazy colour (can’t decide what colour) or do a printed wrap. Also maybe body kit…, but I quite like the standard parts… First works problems.

Looking good. Headlight resto next? 11:50
@detailtherapyАй бұрын
Ta. I think I need to change the headlights entirely. They have been modified by the previous owner to have a DRL and a small help light which I don’t really like. Headlights are expensive though. Need a few more hundred thousand views…

Thanks for showing me what's ahead for my 2-week old. I've already looked under various panels and found a uniform and fine layer of black soot across all the metal underneath. I'll be starting there.

Couldn't possibly afford the 280 but got a white 2.0 sport put the sane badges stripes and wheels and double exhaust. Looked like a 2.8 injection in the early 90s
