They are spec engine Sprint Cars. I believe they use a Chevy 604 crate engine.

Just like normal. The stands are basically empty at APS. Just not the same anymore. This place used to be packed, not anymore. It sucks. Great place to see racing. To many people bitching about the noise. That track was there long before they moved in.

It’s a little disheartening to see the driver get out- and realize he is NOT wearing a HANS device. That should be common sense. I’m glad he’s ok, that was a rough impact- and exactly why it’s worrying.
