I can say as a previous south african hearing this song when I was young we went trough some bad days in our life's. Was not easy being a white south africa. My grandfather from orkny got murdered on he's farm for no reason. That's why we left.

I'm American and my South African friend showed me this song. I can't understand much of it but I like the way it sounds and from the video I can tell it's about a murder? Either way, I love the song.

I know Albert personally. Awesome writer and musician but he is busy giving up music because of the market. People in SA prefer the useless mess that is Saki-saki etc(really... South africa prefers Kaptein span die seile over this???). I have no hope for this planet anymore...

Ive been living in Aliwal North for 22 years now, the song is about a couple that was murdered in the district. Its really sad but its something that happens al over SA
