The title screenshot of the video is "Japan's Air Pass Nobody Talks About" but the video makes barely 3 seconds mention of it and then otherwise is just a typical airport + flight review. You skipped the entire thing that was advertised as interesting and potentially unique, and then present just another boring video about taking a flight. Way to miss the opportunity.

I understand your perspective, but the whole video is in fact about the product you get with explorer pass. Obtaining it is a straightforward process. You just google “Japan Airlines Explorer Pass” and you arrive at the respective landing page. The video gives you the info of existance of the Explorer Pass. But yes, I can try to include more on the sales process next time.

I am a Mauritian and live in Mauritius. Was happy to see this video review of Saudia. I have flown BC a couple of times from Mauritius to Dubai via Jeddah. I can confirm and I agree 100% with this review about the excellent service offered by Saudia (both the aircraft and the Alfursan lounge in Jeddah), and it cost half of what anyone would pay on other competitive airlines for the same route. So hat's off to Saudia. I am looking forward to flying Saudia BC again on 18 Oct 2024.

Seems like you're very tired to stay awake. Was it because of the previous flight? I was once in the same situation, I tried to stay awake just to film the take off, but I couldn't. It was also my first B787 flight, and I regretted that I couldn't make a trip report of that flight.

Excuse me but should this be a flight report? Where's the seat review? IFE review? loo review? cabin walk? 9 mins of video of which just 7 on board for a 12 hour flights is a bit ridicule. And of all things the one you focused on was the croissant?

Thank you for your suggestions. I will never do a toilet review since there are no differeneces between the toilets. If I do a first class review, I will include it. If you watched the whole video, you would see the cabin walk. Some viewers appriciate a compatct form of video in the world of shortening attention span. Red eye flights are dark flights and normally feature less to report on. Yes, the croissant was an very importaint highlight in a negative sense. I do a lot of flying every year and that I was handed out inedible croissant was a shock to me. If I were the FA and burnt one item of the breakfast, I simply would not serve it and would not give pax something to complain about

I honestly don't think that toilets are always the same: clean/dirty, cramped/very cramped, with/without fake wood flooring, with/without window, with/without amenities. But I get that it's not mandatory to do such a review. The short attention span should not be an excuse for superficiality... the IFE it's something that cannot be missed in such a review for me... About the croissant, you're right, that's a big mistake but personally I wouldn't sum up a flight based on that. Thank you for your time anyway

Hi. Trieste airport is quite fast process. No significant queues. The airport opens at 5am. During the night it is closed.

I have worked in aviation coatings for over 17 years. Paint peeling is very common. When I worked at repair facilities, I made a living off repairs and full repaints of jet aircraft. Speeds of hundreds of mph are increased as the air speeds up to flow over surfaces such as the wing and fuselage. Edges typically peel first. After just five years of regular use an aircraft paint job will look like a 50 year old car, for example. Extreme temperatures pose another problem which has to be addressed by aviation coatings. Aircraft go from temperatures in the negatives to 100 plus within minutes. Typical warranty on paint by manufacturers are at most three years.

Haha, sometimes - when they do promotions - their prices really feel like that. However, no. This is a full fletched airline that is partly owned by Lufthansa Group and is in the process of exiting SkyTeam alliance and entering StarAlliance thereafter.

@@got2flyfar It's not owned by LHG yet and btw they are still in SkyTeam and will be until at least mid-2025, so don't rush things ! Lufthansa is the worst airline and they will ruin AZ as well. Disgusting. Also, not a budget carrier.

Yes, my hand was tired and it was not steady enough. A lot of footage was not useful. I was trying to get some sleep in, but the turbulence kept me awake just when my eyes shut 😅 I have a few ones to post that are short due to the short routes.

Wonderful trip report. Liked and subscribed. The cabin was old, and the only thing that was up to date was the remote control :) 7 hours of sleep was insane! Meals looked really good.

Horrible herringbone ... I like a nice view out the window. Fabulous food (except for gnocchi 🤮). Even though menu is not as extensive as some, there is something for every taste and the presentation was simple & elegant. Nice to see you on screen ... you are evidently one of those hateful people who will always look young 🤣. Thanks for another enjoyable vlog.

I do not recall it being cold. Also, I think there are additional blankets in the closet. I always travel with long sleaves and most of the time with long trausers 😬
