Biorower is right. Rowing Clubs are stuffed with much more expensive equipment. No need to bash Biorower if you just want to bark at their price.
@Scottydontno22 сағат бұрын
@@AA-tb7rg who is bickering about price? I took umbrage with @biorower curt response to @79code. As I previously stated, that is not how companies that I like to do business with operate. That is especially true for companies operating in the luxury/bespoke product space. @79code did not specifically mention price as a concern either, their comment was vague enough to leave plenty of room for interpretation or professional inquiry from a customer focused company, which did not happen. To wit, the only people in this thread gripping about price are yourself and @biorower. Finally, I have no qualms with biorowers prices, biorower can charge whatever price they please. Whether the market will bear that price in quantity sufficient to ensure that the company operates in the black, especially given how they apparently treat perspective customers, is another story.
@Scottydontno22 сағат бұрын
@@AA-tb7rgstrange, my reply to you was just apparently deleted. Hmmm. That combined with the fact that biorower took the time to highlight your reply tells me all I need to know. As I preciously stated, only biorower and yourself have mentioned price.

I see no problem with the cost of the Biorower. My problem with is that I can't afford one. The mechanical and electronic feedback of a Biorower are priceless. I've still own a Dreissigacker Erg that I've had for the last 40 years or so but would have loved to have had a Biorower instead. Now at 70, after being out of a boat for 30 years and with an extra 60 lbs I have to lose, I'm struggling to get back into a shell. I figure it will take years to get back into my Owen Heavyweight.

Thanks for the video. After going through the specs of both Club and Pro. The Pro version is worth every penny, can you expand on why the Club version exists? Assuming the lifetime of the Pro version is +5 years, whats the value of getting the Club version?
@BIOROWER4 ай бұрын
The club version was intended to be a more affordable variant of the original Pro model. It is sculling only, does not tilt and feels a little less direct. If this is the first BIOROWER you ever try, you think it is perfect, until you try the Pro. If you do basic maintenance, a Pro lasts at least for 20 years.

This seems a great machine but it is a shame that you have to attack the Concept 2 erg . Had my C2 for 16 years never had a single issue with it. Actually helped my lower back got me sooo fit and lean . Would imagine the biorower takes up the same space as a small car in your garage, which lets face it is where a lot of home gyms are . Take my C2 with me wherever I need it in my hatchback car . C2 customer service is superb they will send you aWOD to use which are brilliant. Computer on Concept 2 machines are fantastic, I also have a ski erg and bike . When you say a biorower is not a luxury but a necessity to me £8,000 is a lot of money ,maybe not to you. Please keep promoting your excellent machine but leave the C2 erg alone.

Great points and I can understand that you like this awesome machine. As you say, built and sized like a tank. You need an extra room and tolerant or non-existent neighbors. 7’000 $ plus shipping😮. Did you consider the Concept2 Dynamic or similar rower? Linear but very different movement pattern, much smaller and 5600 $ cheaper. C2 static rower on 10? Probably only done by Cross Fitters 😅. Anyway, I guess what I’m saying is that with the right financial background any serious rower would probably buy this machine! Also, Aram Lemmerer’s story is fascinating, impressive guy. Biorower is the Red Bull of rowing!
@carolmoffett8189 Жыл бұрын
Your back hurts on a C2 because it’s set @ 10, which causes one to yank with their arms rather than push through with their legs. I row between a 2-3 while most set their dampers 4-6. You’re right in that proper form makes a huge difference in avoiding injuries.
@BIOROWER Жыл бұрын
I spent a lot of time on these linear ergs at 4-6, depending on the drag factor. Ask around pro rowers and their issues
