Maybe an odd question, but what do these cost in Australia? They’re about £7000 inches tax in the UK and just seem too much. ps I already own a Hummel, Trio and Flip.

I fit loads of quick step and love fitting it , but my 1 bug bare is the quality of their underlay, i always use timber mate as it's far superior than any of the qs products, it's a shame that the underlay range is so average compared to how good the flooring is

If it doesn't have any VOCs, then what causes that strong chemical smell that persists long after the Timbermate has cured? It applies easily and sands smoothly, but that smell is impossible to ignore. 😞

notice on the right side of the wall he is getting close and a more aggressive cut? That's because the right side is the machine's most aggressive side.. so when going on the left wall, flip it around so the right side of the machine is against the wall.

If you have to get one of these. It's the square one. Had the powered ( 240v ) for about 10+ years. It's a great bit of kit when hooked to the Vac. Really well balanced.

Why the square?
@pauldavidthomasfrodo Жыл бұрын
@@ronsalutsky6012 That's just my experience after refurbishing 20 houses. When you use the pointy one, you tend to force pressure on the point, causing it to wear out.

@@pauldavidthomasfrodo Makes sense, but how about square vs round as only sander?

Hello, I saw your KZbin channel and Very nice video on your channel, I really enjoyed it. I noticed one thing: according to your channel, your channel videos are not viewed and subscribed. You need to optimise your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. If your channel is optimised a little and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. And monetization of your channel will be on.

Well it looks easy but I’ve spent two days and barely managed two packs. The thin cut strips at the end are a two person job and keep springing up when I do it myself. So disappointing it wasn’t like this video.

its a very slow machine , but surface easier to keep flat, if You have a lot of time an customers pay for , its an option . On small pieced floors its good.
@MarquesFlooring Жыл бұрын
It's a weird thing with these types of systems, once the operator starts to understand the new method, they actually find that for the same quality job, this is A LOT faster for them, the saying in general with it: the slower you go, the faster you are! (it really avoids a lot of unnecessary cross sanding over and over again.) But yes it does look like a slow machine. On a parquetry job, you fly compared to traditional methods!
@isaachunt5799 Жыл бұрын
@@MarquesFlooring this machine is crap and these machines will never replace the proper floor sanders. i've been sanding floors since 1978 btw. this spider is crap. one of the sanding discs flies off after a few uses and then a need pad is needed. plus if u try fine finsh with this it leaves circles everywhere. utterly useless machine.

How is the spider compared to Bona power drive same power would you say ?
@MarquesFlooring Жыл бұрын
Hey Bill, the Spider is far more powerful and versatile. The only benefit the Bona has is that it is cheaper. For the Spider with the variable speed, more attachments, lower profile and inverter soft start motor the Spider is the far better choice. Where are you located?
