1:59 love this scene. Even in a crazy comedy moment, the director did not forget this little detail with his mother, and especially the pain she feels at seeing her sick daughter leave.

Anyone who loves this movie needs to watch Postcards from the Edge. It’s semi autobiographical and written by Carrie fisher

Toni Colette has an uncanny ability into disappearing into her characters. She is not playing a part but becomes the part. Thats is why it is impossible to typecast her into any single role or genre. Truly a master in her craft.
