Question... Thinking about getting Pencil Point Junipers, how far apart do they need to be? I was googling and cant find that. What season is good too for planting them? I'm asking you, cause your trees here look kinda the same, kinda. Thanks!

But will it spread on its own. Some reason I can't find this answer anywhere and in my state I'm paying 10$ a plant. So ,I'd like to know how many,if anymore than a couple , I need to buy. (I'm new at this but does it have what plants like Hostas have )to make them spread? Rimzoms ,I 🤔 think is what it's called?? ..

I clicked on your video looking for info on how long it takes new plantings to get established and until established, how much should they be watered. How do I know when I should water the NEW planting again? You didn't answer either of those questions I needed. Too bad! You might want to add that info to your next video.

I would sooner cut the twine at the time of planting. How many people will remember to comeback at cut in 3mo. I see so many trees and plants STRANGLED by twine and even wire.

The exact trees I am looking for. Do they have any that grows no bigger than 6 ft? Also should I put new dirt in instead of the old. Thanks, great video!

I'ld not return grass into the hole. Grass isn't beneficial for a young tree.
@vitoamos28154 жыл бұрын
you can dunk your roots in a large bucket before planting also maybe add compost to your soil before back filling a hole [helps the plant survive in a strange soil... sometime the water leaches away when you put it in the hole....

Instead of planting that nice arborvitae, you should be spending your time cutting down that dead tree hanging over the house.

Glad I did my research I would of thrown the ornamental grass in the hole w/o roughing up the roots with no water! Thanks champ 🏆!

How much does each plant cost?
@littlejoe93814 жыл бұрын
T Mc : At Walmart the smallest ones are about $8, and as the size increases, the price is about twice as much. Where I live, they are less expensive at Walmart than at Lowe’s. They could be cheaper on line, especially if you buy in bulk.

Fall is considered best, winter is generally less stressful for plants than summer, but be sure to keep it watered in the winter

Take out of pot, put in ground - done. Grasses are pretty maintenance free. Thanks

why do you need to stay away from the foundation
@grandprizeplants83907 жыл бұрын
Trees are sometimes the reason for foundation damage, such as cracks, so as a general it's good to stay away from foundations. But for ornamental grasses specifically, it wouldn't matter. I don't think they are big enough to do damage.
