Yes I've been putting some peanuts behind the feeder so they are distracted from the bird seed for just a bit. Otherwise they jump up there and just eat everything in one go.

It's funny how different Jays look all around the world. I read somewhere that although they look blue to us, they actually aren't. Some strange trick of the sun and our eyes maybe.
