Finding myself hobbies was the best decision ever, It ment Less money for Going out with friends(which included pulling myself from bad influencing people etc - i feel waayyyyy better and my mind is now pushing me to do these hobbys(rc cars, MTB & Golf) This also sounds dumb but i stopped going on 'holidays' - we used to travel often to different countries etc but While you get to live free for those few weeks for some reason it makes you hate your job(which i knew i didnt) because you've experienced life of no responsibilities. We still do trips away for MTB etc but Id argue 3-4 days is alot different to several weeks away. personally i cant just 'sit at home infront of the tv' - i have to find myself doing something i enjoy.
@NZMtbGuy6 күн бұрын
Fantastic mate! Yeah I was the same, used to take 2 or 3 weeks away overseas each year over winter but that has stopped now, in favour of searching out new locations to ride around our own country! It’s amazing what you can find and very satisfying! I’m glad you feel way better now! So glad! 😌
@FreshAirWorks6 күн бұрын
Could not agree more! Sometimes it takes a huge amount of effort to drag myself out of bed but every time I do and I get out on my bike and go for a ride I always feel better. Freshair, daylight & a bit of recreational, physical effort do amazing things for mental & physical health - I personally feel the mental benefits are greatly overlooked. Thanks for posting this.

Almost all motorcycle trick rider's have not had there Cerebral Cortex fully developed. To let them know that they are not making the best decision's in life.
@NZMtbGuy10 күн бұрын
“Ah, so you’re suggesting that motorcycle trick riders might be missing a fully developed cerebral cortex? Well, maybe it’s not about a lack of development but an overdevelopment of something else-like courage, passion, and a willingness to embrace life in ways most people can’t even imagine. After all, the cerebral cortex might tell you to play it safe, but the soul says, ‘Let’s fly.’”

Mate!!! Those guys I was riding with…. I really shouldn’t be riding with them! They are next level plus and they put up with me screaming and shouting and talking while riding, still they wait for me! The clips…. Now that’s a contentious conversation! I literally can’t give them up, ask Lance, him and I are on the same page, just can’t do flats 😜 you know what I want to do, I want you and seniors on e and best day ever the naori the bikes and more all together at once for a week of hilarity in a location that none of us have ever ridden!!!
@EMTBNZ2 ай бұрын
@@NZMtbGuyHaha yes it certainly is. Maybe one day I’ll be on them like the rest of you guys but for now I like to be able to eject myself from the bike & it seems that’s not easy for clips but I don’t really know what I’m talking about. 😂 Yes that would be awesome to do. I’m definitely down. Been meaning to ride with Lance but i don’t want him to waste half the day waiting for me to catch up. 😁🤙
