I had my calculator for about a month and I hadn’t been able to use it because none of the other videos mentioned that the thermal paper only prints on one side, 😅😅 I thought something was wrong with it! 😩 so thank you so much for making this video 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

April 2023 - I used your video to understand how to change the ink roller in my Canon palm printer P1-DH V. Thanks so much. That was all I needed. Different brand but the ink roller is removed and replaced the same way as with your Victor! Thank you! It was the same model ink roller and the company (INKVO) included no instructions and did not respond to my asking for help.

I just scrambled to find something like this last night. Namely, a "paperless printing" calculator like Sharp EL-1501 or EL-1901. I then realized, unfortunately, only the 1901 had a check and correct function (which it makes zero sense why the 1501 wouldn't). After this, I realized what I really needed was a check and correct calculator not designed in the printing or financial styles. I found very few examples of this, basically just a new cheap knockoff of a folding casio from the 80's and a Casio DJ-120D, which I ended up buying at Staples, last night. Unfortunately, none that I could find had the mechanical keys, which I really wanted, but I think I surprisingly made the right decision. I really wanted the 1901 for the keys and the screen displaying multiple lines, but it probably would've been a bad idea to try to get used to performing printing calculator math in a hurry for my immediate purpose, and I don't currently need any of the financial functions. Still need to put the DJ-120D to use, but hopefully it was the right move.

Oh yeah, and there's the Victor 6400, but I didn't have enough time to look it over. It looks beautiful, people reviewed that the keys were difficult to use, whereas the Casio seems to work well.

Usually, pressing the Reset button on the bottom of the calculator will fix most issues. If the problem is with the print mode specifically, check to make sure that both the paper and ink roller have been installed correctly and then reset the machine.

The PL8000 is a thermal printing calculator. It does not use ink. Rather, you need to use thermal printing paper, not regular printing paper. You can find a replacement for the thermal paper at victortech.com and search for the model 70803

I wonder how the balance board compares to a topography type mat like the TOPO mat. I like both concepts but not sure which I would like better while working in front of a computer. I really don’t want to buy both.
