Whoosh!!! The top IoM TT riders really are gladiators of speed. Unbelievable skill and tenacity to go that fast. However every year about 5 participants are killed at the event. Is that right? all for the thrill of speed, im not so sure. I know every rider knows the risks and they willingly take part despite this. But looking at this footage here with the closeness of the spectators to the bikes. All it will take is for a collision with spectators and the event could be in serious jeapordy. I hope that never happens.

@ 0:08 in the video it sounds a lot like the blower pressure relief valve in action as he shuts off the gas. Great video , don’t often get to hear these bikes flat out and doing what they were designed for.

I am so JEALOUS! I brought my brand spanking new back in 1972 Same color and everything. Took it to Canada and all over. Loved that bike. Do you still have it ? Is it for sale?

@@egghead992 yes I still have it. It’s in a movie. Also called the violent heart on Netflix. I’d probably take 15 K for it comes with a ton of parts.

Thanks for this video, you have done a really great job "resurrecting" this "Classic" machine. Back to its former Glory, I really admire the attention to detail that guys like you, lavish on these old "Strokers" Thank you, from a former Biker here in the UK. Who, for health reasons cannot ride anymore. Incidently, where did you get the right hand side piston, these are like "Hen's Teeth" Nowadays.

Absolutely perfect...it actually was not smokey either!!.. Identical to my buddy's when it was brand new !!!! And they were very fast when they were new !!!...faster than all the cars.

I really appreciate this original Honda material. I am restoring a few vintage Hondas and am interested in both the technological theory and the training of the eras for my ‘70-‘80s bikes. Do you have any more, or could you please steer me toward wherever I might find these technical training videos? Thank you.
