Wish I knew how to fly fish, something I have always wanted to learn since I was a kid. Just don't think there is a lot of places here in Chicago to do it. Never seen anyone around here to show me how. One day tho, one day.

Yo, Get yer sh** in focus. Palmering is the wrapping of the hackle about the hook shank the length of the body/abdomen/thorax any or all of the aforementioned. It is NOT the bit of separating the fibers. Learn the 'language of the tyer".
