Is yours randomly losing connection to a TPMS sensor and saying “Service Tire Monitor”? Ours has 700 miles on it and has done it twice and it randomly goes away.

No one plans to run out of gas. This video is just a FYI for people that own a 2024 Acadia and don't know they have a funnel in the car. Emergency situations only, you can't go to the gas station if you are out of gas. This video states, what do you do if your out of gas! Not almost out of gas. LOL.

Not sure what you mean by the wheels Tahoe or Suburban? This video says it is specifically for a 2024 GMC Acadia. Which is what it is. :-) Funky funnel gets wrapped in a paper towel or something until it can be washed. LOL , I mean this is only for emergency situation. Not too worried about it.

I've found multiple vehicles like this, they all seem to have the funnel in about the same spot where the emergency kit used to be. If not under the floor it's in the side pocket below the rear quarter window.

We like this feature on our 2020 Sierra 1500 and wondered if it was still added to newer vehicles. Great for letting out some of the summer heat before getting in.

Very helpful! We are looking at getting a 24 Acadia and I was thinking they put it in the infotainment screen. Now I know where it’s located. Will probably need the Super Cruise with everything they only have available in the screen. 😉

All my music stopped working. Android auto, XM, FM and AM all were not playing any sound. Phone calls and GPS would still play audio. This fixed it!!!! Thank you.

It does not. It turns off the screen all together, but other than that, system is still in a funky state. When it gets in this mode, the only fix is to do the hard reset trick unfortunately.

Not sure what your talking about. At minute 1:48 in the video, I specifically point with my index finger, the button that you use for the reset, while I am stating that you have to hold it down for 10 seconds. Not sure what else you want.

When we are listening to the radio (sirius) the phone interrupts the music for no reason. There isn't a text or any kind of notification on the phone. I am beginning to think it is picking up interference while in traffic.

that is odd, the only time mine interrupts is when the phone makes a sound from a notification. Or I am using the phone and caused it to make a sound, like text typing clicks, or the sound it makes when I send an email.

Is this the first year for this infotainment system in the Acadia?

Unfortunately, I believe that it is. At least for the new layout with a 15 inch screen. I think they have had the google ran infotainment software for a couple of years, but the 2024 Acadia is an all new, 15 inch screen with an 11 inch driver screen that tie info together with car play, android auto, google assistant built in. etc.... This video is more for awareness, i know they will have issues, just want awareness so maybe they pursue fixing these specific bugs sooner than later. :-)

it wasn't a settings. It was just built into the .STL file. the mask was created with many more layers than your normal Hueforge designs.

Haven't had any issues lately. It has probably been a year now that I haven't had any more issues. Their updates have fixed all of my issues finally. It took a while, but finally haven't had any problems in a long while now.

So i have an issue with when my computer goes to sleep and i wake it back up I have to restart the software. Quite annoying.

@@Gorilazz. I haven't had that exact issue, but I have had when my computer goes to sleep, it appears that the USB port on the computer is still asleep. I simply unplug the mic and plug it back in and it fixes this issue. Doesn't happen everytime.

Beacn definitely has a lot more settings, which can be daunting. The good thing is there are plenty of youtube videos out there that give you a great example of how to setup the Beacn software. Which will give most people a great baseline to start with. That is what I did. Then I just slightly changed a few settings. I prefer the Beacn, and with the online tutorial for settings, that would be my recommendation.

I would reach out to the BEACN team. I have found that the best way to work with them is by going to their Discord channel. I worked through a couple of issues in a private discord chat once I talked to them in there.

Great coverage. I must admit I’m still a little peeved Beacn still hasn’t been able to release macos software. It’s been a while. This comparison on a windows platform is as fair a comparison as it gets. The software is probably what edges it out… but I think out of box with zero tailoring the Shure.

Glad it's not just me. The graph in the middle never cut out on me but the one on the right side was doing it all the time. Beacn posted an update for the software in their Discord today. So far so good with everything working as it should continually.

I would have to double check, but I am fairly sure that pressing the knob button just switches the output from speakers to headphones, or whatever two devices you have set up for output. I will need to verify that though. But there is an actual mute button which is below the knob. It does mute the mic, but it doesn't change the colors of the RGB on the Beacn Mic when muted like it should. Thus, my solution is with the streamdeck.
