Lol about the exhaust falling off. The bull sugar they come out with to push their own brand of products. Their audience is clearly people who know nothing about the motor trade. You own any VW parts from new. Study part numbers and other stamps. You'll see a real manufacturing brand is smaller writing.

What a bunch of fear mongering stuff. Next time, replace the sensors, and reset the module properly. A hit like that should have initiated the air bag - sounds like it wasn't fixed properly. Using 'out-dated' methods still work on modern cars.

What's the point then if you get a shorter life expectancy? You will need to pay a visit to the garage more frequently, so practically this means the 'economy' parts could even prove to be more expensuve in the long term.

Giannis Antypas but not everyone would go to a workshop to put parts on, you can always buy parts and install yourself. And not only that it is a good choice if you plan to discard a car in the near future it is a very good choice.

Fine idea to bring out a cheaper range for older vehicles. I for one am not impressed by the lack of quality in aftermarket parts. Great to see genuine parts are now more affordable

You do realize VW doesn't have a braking manufacturing facility. The genuine VW parts in Europe are made by ATE.

@@juandef4115 No car manufacturer makes their own parts like brakes. My point is a lot of aftermarket parts are rubbish. OEM suppliers generally are good quality
