this mission is not easy but you can make the mission so easy by just freezing his car before he can start the first head in mount Rushmore. the only problem is if he gets damaged he is almost instantly dead but if you manage to freeze him you have so much more time for the mission.

Although it is pretty smart strategy, it is 100% luck that your commando stood alive to blow up the main alien structure. Pure luck.

Tip i learned the hard way. Dont put the signal near the building you want to fire on. they will get destroyed also XD.

I tried replaying the whole game on medium difficulty with the goal of FAILING all bonus objectives. Managed to do all missions except this one where I just couldn't keep that mastermind alive for the whole mission. I allowed rift though. Any chance you could try this mission with the goal of failing both bonus objectives? Meaning allow rift and don't kill mastermind.

Didn't know you could finish a mission without doing every single primary objective!

Holy guacamoly, that commando's definitely going down in history as the man who singlehandedly stopped the invasion alone, I'd say he's on the same level if not above Havoc Using ion cannon to cut power from the storm column to allow the command to infiltrate the relay node is excellent, but that's certainly not a strat one would come up with on their first play

Interesting Strategy, I really love it so simple and easy to do. I have a tip for you that you can use Natasha and Tanya to destroy the higher building, for example you can use Natasha to destroy the Statue Liberty and use Tanya to destroy the Premiere Fortress, so you can destroy the building easily.

GG ! I made same, but kepts an ingineer for capture the N-W Nod airport ; spend all money for venom and cut the main base power. They haven't anti-air defenses... Then obelisks aren't dangerous. PS : what is your soundtrack, please ?

Very important tip with the Storm Columns: If you want to build near them, just power them down and then place the building. The storm they generate is what makes the area around them unbuildable.
