Funny thing that I come across a song titled "There Is No God" and I just finished having a deep conversation with my father about why people really say there is no God while the proof is right in front of us everyday.

Antoine Boone as a believer in God, you should be more empathetic towards those who do not believe. I was raised Roman Catholic, Latin spoken masses every Sunday until i went to college. However setting aside the theological debate for one second...The title and track, at least in my personal opinion, are not perpetuating the idea God does not exist. It's more of a statement about the music itself ... An anti-establishment, existential nihilistic sound. it's another example of a long line of artists to color Outside the Lines, who do not conform to society's laws and morals, similar to the sound of the music itself. Heavy metal is a perfect example... that you really think all those guys are Satan worshipers?? I'm sure they have kids and families and some of them probably even go to church. A consistent theme amongst heavy, hardcore music is Satan because the idea of the devil represents the opposite of what Society wants you to be drawn towards, I believe in most cases it's meant to be symbolic. I think it's pretty badass to be honest with you... taking a definitive artistic stance like that in essence limits a large portion of what could be a potential fan base. Could turn a lot of people away. I think it actually takes some balls. Just one man's opinion.

weisbrot , bist du deutsch? dann kann man sich ja so unterhalten^^. Ich wusste nicht, dass Darkstep und Deathstep unterschiedlich ist, dachte es wären einfach nur verschiedene Namen für dasselbe.

jop. ja, darkstep ist ein subgenre von dnb, und auch schon relativ alt (hat sogar nen eigenen wikipedia artikel). also klar, manche benutzen es auch um so 'dunklen' dubstep zu bezeichnen, aber urspruenglich ist es dnb. und so wie ich es kenne nennt man solche sachen wie das hier und z.b. das was bratkilla macht deathstep.

It's deathstep. It's supposed to be a mix of death metal and dubstep, but I think it's sometimes called deathstep because it's extremely dark and hardcore.
