I’m cruising NCL to Rome in the spring. I’m booked on Rome on your Own tour. My tour says it starts at 8. In your video it sounds like you walked off the boat and straight to the NCL excursion bus at 7:30. Did you just need to be on the excursion bus at 8? I’ve heard people having to meet in 1 of ship theaters and then head to the excursion bus (which I would guess you’re really not leaving the port till 8:30).

If you bought specialty dining packages, do they still charge you extra for the steaks?

In the main dining room, yes. Because the package gives you credits for a meal at Cagneys

What private transfer company did you use to get from the hotel to port? Did you use the same to get from port to the hotel at the end of your cruise?

Taxi Barcelona was the company we used to begin with. Our cruise ended in Italy so we could not use the same one, we used NCL buses to the airport and then our hotel shuttle from the airport

Different every cruise and every person. I do not do it by per day per person since its cash from my wallet on top of what the cruise charges. May leave someone $60 may leave someone $40. I always say its your cruise and your money, so you do what you want.

Spent 3 days there and went all over exploring the town and ran into 0 issues with the locals. Very friendly in my experience there.

When you did your online Check-in for your second cruise of the back-to-back, Did you have to pick a boarding time?

When you book a back to back you call Disney Cruise line and they link the two reservations so you only check in for the initial embarkation, since the 2nd leg of the back to back is a different type of embarking on the ship
