More useful of a demonstration than the Buffet Crampon promotionals. Thank you very much! The electronic interpretation of the clarinet tone and articulation has a long way to improve, imo.

Great job, but please keep your fingers closer to the keys. This advice was personally given to me back in the late 70's by my dear friends Sonny Stitt and Jerome Richardson.

No, sorry. But it's just transposed from the original big band parts, leaving out the ones that double each other, if that helps.

sorry, but I think an alto or tenor saxophone fits a woodwind quintet as well or better than a French Horn, provided the saxophonist uses a dark classical setup, NOT a loud bright jazz mouthpiece!

Thank you for posting. I have to confess. I love classical and baroque music, but my mind flows from theme to theme. I occasionally try other forms of music, and listened to this throughout. but it is far too inharmonious for my mind to connect. But then I am very fond of the HammerKlavier by Beethoven, not to mention his grosse fugue quartet, which for many is just a noise. Maybe I need to give this piece another try.

That's really helpful - thanks! I just heard about this device today, and was curious about the implementation. I hope there are or will be more realistic sounds available without having to plug into a confuser to access VSTi plugins. I will stick to my WX5 for now, and consider both this as well as the Emeo when the price comes down a bit.

With all the practice ‘saxophones’ that have come out over the past several years, it’s awesome Buffet has done something for the clarinet. Looks very impressive and the muting is amount is impressive. Definitely going to look into this.

Cool!! Is it glissando and (de)crescendo possible?
@BretPimentel
@BretPimentel 2 жыл бұрын
Crescendo and decrescendo are possible due to the ClariMate's breath sensor. If you can get the reed pressure sensor working (I couldn't - see the full review for details) you can apparently bend the pitch somewhat, but I expect a Rhapsody-in-Blue-style glissando would be very difficult to achieve.
