worst repair ever. you will have an ugly speaker. All the repair could be done on the back of the speaker and you will have on the front only a fine scratch

Just had one that attacked me. Nasty little bugger too and very persistent. Hard to understand as they have been coming into our yard for years for the honey from the trees. I am not impressed.

I watched the video. I have a 1972 Fender Super Reverb Amp with a tear in the paper fabric on 1 of the 4 10" speakers. (the cone is good). I got a piece of gauze pad out of the medicine cabinet, cut to size and used Titebond Original Wood Glue. It is an aliphatic resin wood glue. Gets tacky quickly but is thick enough to spread with a small paint brush. I will let it sit overnight and check tomorrow. If all looks OK I'll play it and crank the volume. Hopefully it holds up awhile.

Just asking all videos on/ youtube I've seem, always use the earpiece of the phone rather than mouthpiece of telephone. It seems to me this is backwards unless there is a method to your madness?
@Arbolitree Жыл бұрын
The mic piece is often a carbon microphone, which means it needs power to work, and sounds different. The earpiece can work backwards as a microphone and sound like an old radio which is great for most people attempting this kind of convertion and doesn't require any power, you just plug the Line/XLR cable in and are good to go.

This video was a lot of help at the beginning for me. If you want one of these for lo-fi dirty vocals or to plug into fx pedals etc and don't have the time or want to make one than HMU or go to my shop online. Just look up HMHS electronics and I can even custom make one for you. I do encourage everyone to DIY though but if you have the money... ha ha. ♥

I remember wiring a Bell Atlantic hand set to use both the speaker and mic on yahoo chat in 1998. later I set it on vox and used a rewired CB mic "push to talk" I also remember bootlegging napster music to cassette tapes when a cd burner cost $800. Its always cool to make something you have work than buying things

Yeah that's not the crystal element in that one I have a real one & it looks completely different says 151 right on the back & isn't from Japan I would say that was replaced with the cheap one you can buy that were made for the second generation blues blaster they don't have crystals and sounds completely different
@tracymichellelarge58458 жыл бұрын
Depends on which one you get most sellers don't specify if it is an old gen (151 crystal) REAL blues sound, or newer gen no crystal "no" real blues sound as stated, they sound completely different!, also the reasoning for the mixed reviews on the blue bullet ' s, the 151 crystal's are very fragile to temperature, & drops few have survived & are harder to find, new are junk hints the 1☆& 2☆,on most reviews I'd pass, old 151 crystal blues blaster 5☆'s if you find one definitely get it
