I just bought on new in box. Will be installing an os 56 alpha engine in it. I also have the cessna 177 in a box keeping it for later. I have flown 2 cessnas earlier, but the first one broke the wing in half with a little bit too wild acrobatics :-) The other one is so old and yellowed in the plastic from UV damage that the plastic is brittle. This beaver, and my 3rd. new cessna are painted by thunder tiger, and that will protect the plastic from going brittle hopefully. Thanks for sharing your video of the Cessna 177. I have the Cessna also along with the Beaver. Back a few years ago I also had the Ready Mk3 on floats with a fourstroke engine. I have a video of it flying at the local lake in 2012. Cheers and kind regards.

Myself I fly a bit of everything and currently am reviving a MFA Yamamoto should be ready in about 3 weeks time. This was my first plane from 1994

Nice Super Frontier. Coincidentally, I have just acquired one. It has a .91 Saito in it and a great many large washers stacked and screwed onto the firewall. This appears to be a huge amount of noseweight for an airplane designed for a .46. Why so much, I wonder?

Hi John and good luck with your Super Frontier Senior. Its a great flying aircraft and you will love it. That sounds like a lot of nose weight. I have mine over 12 years now with a Saito 72 and to get the proper balance I had to add two medium sized bolts to the firewall. Regards Aidan.

Difficult to fly inverted with diehedreal.. Great beginner plane... comfortable with this then try Sr falcon semi symmetrical wing then after that Carl Goldbergs extra 300 with super tiger 3000..

Should be able to fly it inverted with a little practice as my brother used to fly a Super 60 with ailerons inverted. Jumping from a Falcon to an Extra 300 a bit of a leap. * dihedral

He could not grasp the idea weather plane was coming or going away from him.turned to my dad & said I get so frustrated with plane I want to jump & down on plane... activity is suppose to be Enjoyable ..not bring out HATE.....?

@@dynevor6327 it's all in what your Comfortable with sure you can fly falcon Then super kasos then maybe arrow then maybe space Walker then maybe phaton 90 then extra 300 just depends on what you feel comfortable with is all..

Hi Richard and nice to hear from you all the way from Las Vegas Nevada. You will love the Kadet Senior. Its such an iconic plane and a fantastic flyer and equally you will love it with the Saito 62. That is my favourite engine of them all though I have a few Saito 72s and I love them too. Saito engines are so reliable. As you can see from the video I'm still flying the Super Frontier Senior and its still a joy to fly. The only thing I have changed on it is the covering on the fuselage. Three weeks ago i stripped off the old covering and recovered it all in Oracover White. The wing covering thankfully is still in good shape. Kind regards Aidan.

i can inhale 4 stroke smoke through the monitor. such a good planes you have, amazing engines. only one thing to improve, you fly to far, even the camera did no see the plane. come nearly to us.

That thing needs a OS 0.55 AX with a master airscrew pylon racing prop 11.5x7.5. Then you can knife edge endlessly, do gyroscopic maneuvers, snap roll violently and fly a very high speed. Much more fun than putting around scale like.

@@hayloft3834There are all kinds of flying to be enjoyed.... not just the way you enjoy it. But I will say this.... I bet I can hold an audience for longer, I bet my style is more interesting to young people, and I bet quite a few wish they could fly the way I do. Just saying..... and I have taught over 80 people how to fly.... so there is that too. Few want to fly like a grandpa.

@@KnifeEdgeCrash My experience as a grandpa, the bigger the talk the smaller the walk. Can I assume the the KnifeEdgeCrash is a reflection? As a grandpa, a couple of gotos are a Curare and a scaled down 1400 Arrow, started flying in the early 70's. I also enjoy a lazy flight with a Space Walker and a couple of gliders that can all be thrown around for fun. Just saying.

love the Avistar Aidan ive put slightly bigger wheels on mine (up 1/4 inch front rear) gives you a bit better prop clearance, are you using Full flaps for landing (flap ele mix) great take off..

Thanks John. Yes I'm using full flaps for landing with a small percentage of down elevator mixed in. The Avistar is a lovely plane to fly. I think I will go for a slightly bigger wheel as I'm using a 13x6 propeller. Will give me a bit more ground clearance. Kind regards Aidan

@easystar123 thanks, I bought the one from the first generation.. I can see it by the kind of landing gear, that doesn't have the toy wheels as all of the new have... It is replacing the escaped the have been destroyed in mid-air collusion... Phoenix are known along with seagull to have the strongest arf models..

I have flown the Tiger 40 now many times and it's holding up very well indeed. @easystar123 all my planes are reenforced at the center wing with fibers, I pull up at a very high speed... Most of my planes are home made I downloading plans and print and make all by myself this time I was lazy
