This is great and everything until your impeller sucks it in and the pump stops working 😞

this is really cool I understand this was the six year old video but did you ever do a video of how you did the PVC piping from the filter to the intake step by step I'm a single mom and not too good with tools so I want to try to do it
@kristysantibanez78883 жыл бұрын
I would use that black rolled pvc for heat and put cannister filter material in the pump

Your ideas are ingenious. I have been scratching my head... trying to repair my broken sand filter... trying to connect an old skimmer filter in-line... trying to electrocute myself a few times... a Kool-Aid® pitcher and some, what?! Pillow foam?!?! Love it, dude. Keep it up! If everyone had a pool, you'd have 50,000,000 views. What else you got?

This is what not to do my wife said. As I'm in ahhhhhh poor pump intex or not. Glad to see you using sweeps, and Borax raises the pH use acid or c02, Simple solar. Use enzymes and UV or o3 it kills what chlorine don't

Kody, love your ideas, but it would be helpful if you would share where you got the stuff please. I know this is an old video but some of us are just starting!

aren't swim weights lead? not sure if they still make them out of lead but if they do, you probably dont want that stuff in your pool, if they leach out into your pool the levels of lead could get pretty high, again i have no iidea if they still make those things out of lead. just a thought

Man you are brilliant! So many great ideas that are pretty easy to make. I really like your skimmer and shower ideas. Well I really like your heater idea too, but I live in Florida. It will come in handy around November though. BTW, your video didn't suck, I thought it was quite informative. Quality knowledge, Thanks!

I LOVE these pool ideas. Can you give me a list of what to buy to make one? The pollen really messed up the pool this year. I also put hoses on the roof but the hose ends or metal parts rotted away. No idea why. So now we're back to square 1 with the solar heater. Being in Georgia and our pool being near a forest of trees it's a mess. What are the blue parts of the basket system? Did you get the filter baskets at walmart? Hope you can answer soon I'm hoping for a swim tomorrow and the pool bottom has these bugs and large green balls of pollen rolling around. Thank you Kody

Wow I love it!! You have really made great use of all the knowledge out there on DIY. Awesome job with well everything. I love your sprinkler system and the solar heating. The use of hard pvc piping instead of all those bumpy hoses where everything gets stuck in them, is fastinating. For your first video I give you 3 big thumbs up :) One other thing thanks for the tips on chemicals, they will really come in handy. Thanks for sharing :)

Cool build on the skimmer! How many gallons per hour does your pump do? I was thinking of building something like yours, but with an electric submersible pump. Also, did the blue part come from a pre-fab surface skimmer? Thanks for the video!
